Free Tools Grid

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 18, 2026

Short version: every tool on Free Tools Gridruns in your browser. We don't upload your files, we don't read what you paste, and we don't store your inputs on our servers.

1. What we collect

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate (page views, country, device type, referring source). This lets us know which tools are popular and where to invest our time.

We do not collect:

  • The text, code, images, PDFs, or files you process with the tools — they never leave your device.
  • Account information (we don't have accounts).
  • Personal identifiers beyond what Google Analytics receives by default.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies:

  • Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics. You can opt out via the cookie banner.
  • Functional cookies for things like remembering your light/dark mode preference. These never leave your browser.
  • Ad cookiesset by Google AdSense if we display ads to you. AdSense may personalize ads based on Google's broader ad ecosystem. Learn more about Google ads.

3. Local storage

Some tools (e.g. the Invoice Generator) save your last draft in your browser's localStorage so you don't lose work on refresh. This data lives only on your device. You can clear it via your browser's site settings any time.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third parties:

  • Google Analytics — usage analytics.
  • Google AdSense — to display ads (where applicable).

Each has its own privacy policy. We don't share any personally identifying information with them beyond what their scripts collect by default.

5. Children

Free Tools Grid is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

6. Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage.
